How to Make Southern 'Crowd Pleasing' Potato Salad

However, an improper ratio can make or break a potato salad recipe. Most southern cooks claim to have the BEST potato salad recipe and it’s no different in my family!

We all LOVE Mrs. Ingrid's from the church’s potato salad! (read more about why on my blog) In this video, I attempted to replicate her famous potato salad! Although this recipe doesn’t have her special touch and I feel it’s still missing something, it’s become my FAVORITE potato salad recipe!

It’s so creamy and the flavor is amazing! I’ve yet to find anyone who doesn’t like it, even folks who swear they ONLY eat potato salad made with Dukes lol. (raises hand)

I have always been asked to make my potato salad for family and friends for years and Hellman’s mayo has always been the secret! I don’t add sugar to my potato salad nor use sweet relish (dill instead). It is super delicious! Your recipe looks delicious!

I always use Hellmanns, it is the best. I also use the salad sweet cubes with a little juice, sometimes onions and celery seeds.. My family likes it with sugar of course. Like you said to your taste.
