Why This Former Member Began To Doubt The WMSCOG

The World Mission Society Church Of God. is a South Korean based cult group that makes great boasts about being the “one true church” who alone has the truth of God and can teach the right way of salvation. Not very surprisingly, this is nearly the exact same claim that basically every other Christian-based cult makes. The WMSCOG asserts that their deceased leader “Ahnsahnghong” is the second coming of Christ in the flesh who restored the way to eternal life through the Passover. Another central doctrine for them is their doctrine about “God the Mother.” They believe that a South Korean, elderly woman named Zhang Gil Jah is a second female deity who they refer to as Mother God or Jerusalem Mother. According to WMSCOG doctrine, one must have faith in Mother God in order to be saved. With a little critical thinking, analyzing of the WMSCOG doctrines, and an honest and responsible examination of the biblical text, it can be decisively shown that the WMSCOG is nothing more than a high-control, high-demand cult group that will likely only bring you and your family emotional, spiritual, relational and financial pain and devastation.

I can’t say I’ve experienced any of what she has said, I’m basically living out of a duffel bag and have been to 13 services including my three sabbath services dressed in a tshirt and shorts from old navy while everyone else is wearing a suit and never once did I get looked down upon. If anything I mentioned I need to grab a suit for the next one to match all of them and the one member responded wear whatever you want.

I also have 2 kids 4 and 2 yrs old of which my 2 yr old needs a lot of attention and they have been helping him out tremendously

It does feel like a cult vibe which I can’t deny but as for the mentioning of strict or discipline never once had to deal with it. I just showed up to the last service 10 minutes late due to traffic (1 hour 20 minutes to get there) and when I sat down (again in tshirt and shorts) one of the brothers moved up to sit next to me and share his book for the chapter we were reading.

I am here to see what members or x members that have been in for awhile and left have to say and will continue to watch these videos as I continued to evaluate the truth based on being an active member versus what other x members have to say with their experience

It is because Jesus Name was not written in the Bible yet in the Old Testament but only Jehovah. Not understanding that Jesus was Jehovah in the flesh, which means they outwardly claim to believe in the Bible and Jehovah with their lips but their heart and ears and eyes were all far away from GOD eventhough Jehovah was right infront of them in the flesh as Jesus Christ

So it is repeating again now in the Age of the Holy Spirit
Especially those who betray the SPIRIT and the BRIDE are far far worst than JUDAS ISCARIOT

Can't be sure what you just said is true or not. Because you did not provide any clearer evidence.

You just made it sound like the members shut the doors from you, and being cold blooded. But I'm wondering if you have any evidence showing how cold blooded the members were.

I feel that you're just copying the same stories from what is shown in the internet and then mix a little bit with your own story.

To me, in my church, all members consider each other, and happiness is our first priority to all members. If they felt burdensome while having personal issue, we never force them any longer but encourage them to solve their problem first.

But what you just said seems like an old story from the internet. In fact, you did confess in the last video that you searched online and discovered rumours.

So, now I'm doubting that what you just said is even more one sided.
