I'm fortunate to have a letter Steve Ditko wrote and signed to a fan as well as the mailing envelope. I understand his signature isn't readily available. I used to prefer Johnny Romita's portrayal of Spider-Man but over the years I switched to Steve Ditko's.

It better end up good. Marvel now has superheroes like Spider-Man with Sony for movies into the MCU. They need to settle and priortize the deal for web-slinger between their Studios and Sony. It takes one wrong move for Sony to send away Spider-Man to Marvel Studios in terms of movie rights. Stan Lee furiously went through this, ending up not taking the snuff so much on Spider-Man to use based on royalties. The situation for Spider-Man in the movies isn't looking too amazing right now.

I respect all you do for the community, as well as your own publishing work, but I have a differing opinion on this subject. IMHO, I see nothing wrong with a work for hire scenario because the companies are the ones that take most, if not all, of the risk. Were Ditko and other creators around to bail Marvel out during the 90’s in the bankruptcy years? I don’t think they were. Again, just my opinion. I will continue watching as I don’t bail on channels, or people, just because we have differing points of view. Civil disagreements are possible, after all.
