Lol, the thought of the Russos leaving really left Disney shook. Not ScarJo suing, not the possibility for other actors following suite, not even the way it would make them look not honoring Scarlets contract deal...
But this, this scared them. Than again I guess I can't blame them since they literally don't have anyone else of the Russos caliber except James Gunn who's only doing GOTG 3 then probably off to WB for good.

Actually, I don't want the Russo Brothers to come back. They did great, and I love their work, especially The Winter Soldier. They've had their run. Time for some new talent, talent that doesn't despise The Hulk, for example.

I’m pretty skeptical that the current leadership would really view the Russos as essential. They just knew they were going to lose the case and they didn’t want more talent to bolt. The financial issues in the Scarjo case have long-term implications way beyond one successful movie.

I can resent folks who make their money by just manipulating people, resources, and finance but I will NEVER begrudge a person who is being compensated for the use of their own personal talents and skills. ScarJo clocks in for her check just like you and I do. She just crushes it and gets a huge payout.
