Bending the ball into the goal is easy, the issue is you have to get it past the keeper and the men defending on the posts. Any middle school soccer player can bend the ball into the goal, it's not a hard kick.

This video is a real bummer for this series. It's not almost impossible for any reasons stated by the video, it's almost impossible because defenders and keepers typically aren't stupid.
what made this series good was that they picked things that people haven't done yet but are theoretically possible, but this has been done at every level of play plenty of times.

The ONLY reason why it's so difficult to score from a corner kick is because the goal keepers are not idiots OR the defenders are idiots and whiffed on the ball (like Becham's goal). That's why this happens so much in youth football (soccer) and you put people on the front and back goal posts.

Your problem in this video is mainly the strength, you're not kicking it hard enough to make a big enough curve.
Tbh, a curve ball isn't that hard for any experienced player. What is truly hard about scoring a corner goal is to trick the goal keeper.

The reason why are only few of these goals in real matches, is because the players do no try that often.They prefer a cross to a team mate for higher chances of scoring, rather than trying to score themselves.

Yeah this video is informative but it misses the point. They are not impossible to do. Its actually quite easy to bend a soccer ball. This happens quite often in 11-14 year old youth soccer because keepers are either not skilled enough or simply not big enough to defend against it. As keepers and defenders get larger and better they will save a ball served like this 95% of the time. The attacking team has much better odds if the ball is served to an attackers head. Probably around the age of 14 or 15 the best players on a youth team usually learn to stop doing this because it is seen as a waste of an opportunity and as a rather selfish move.

lol this video is completely missing the real reason, I've scored like 3 times by accident when I played youth football (when the goalies are literally just too small). The real reason it's impossible is the distance and angle giving the goalie a ridiculous amount of reaction time and only having to cover a little bit of ground.
