9000 is terrible for an abused charger, those dont hold up the same as the crown vics did

The only thing hanging me up from buying one is all the idle runtime. You have to definitely go through the engine, but you can’t get a V-8 all wheel drive anymore only the police editions or pre 14’

That tow bar never gets used to help people. Cops dont give a shit unless they get to write a ticket.

I like how new cars are so expensive that 9k is now cheap for a used car

Speaking of government auctions, when the Marine Corps got rid of their hummers you could snag them for a couple grand at auction. The only things they had removed was their branding. They sold for pennies compared to what the government paid for them.

They USED to be a hell of a steal back in the day. The local ones here arrived factory and got modded out, including swapping the engine. Then when they were retired they'd swap the engine back before going to auction. A massive steal back when they were all standards.

Just $9000
Still doesn't sound cheap. 😅

$9k for a car that's lived it's life between getting the absolute shit kicked out of it and then to the other extreme of sitting there running doing fuckall other than keeping the AC/Heater running. Used cop car auctions used to be $500-1000, with the $1000 ones usually being detective cars with low hours/mileage.

I have a 2013 Ford police interceptor utility with 14, 000 idle hours. Bought it from a used car lot for $3000 with all the service records. Runs great no issues for almost 2 years now. I make sure I change the oil every 3000 miles full synthetic mobile one and filter.

That "secret" lock is a normal child safety lock.

The cops egos are the toughest thing to fit in these chargers

$9000 is a good deal for a civilian charger. They used to have cheap cop cars, but everyone is so obsessed with flipping cars that you're paying 9 thousand freaking dollars for a surplus police vehicle. 😅 that's a terrible terrible deal

You can get a police interceptor Crown Vic all day for $1500-$2500. They are always super well maintained because they are regularly serviced by the state.

They force you to buy cars for police then they sell them back to you. Makes sense.

I had an undercover 04 impala. It had survailence mode. A button that when u press it all the lights go out. Plus i dont think u mentioned that they usually have beefed up alternators and a few other parts i dont think i heard u say in the first vid. Although im sure there r diff things in diff cars in diff departments
