Although most of our early information about the Celts comes from Greek and Roman writers whose experience was with Celtic tribes on the continent, we can glean some insights into the Celts of Britain. We also introduce the fact that Ireland eventually became the world's greatest repository of Celtic cultural preservation.

In addition to the blue paint, battle nudity, charging, etc. they also played an otherworldly horn. 😂

5:20 The celts DID NOT all fight naked. Most wore armor. In fact, the roman helmet was a knock off of the celtic version. ONE small group is reported in history as fighting naked, along side their heavily armored allies (also celts).

Although i truly relish the work of Thersites, there are some inaccuracies here. The celts rarely fought naked, usually using body armour and the average height of a celtic man was, to the best of our knowledge, around 5'6".

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure the Celts were culturally and linguistically closer to the Italic people than Germanic.
