What We Are Witnessing from BROCK PURDY

Brock Purdy has officially made #nfl history! The #49ers third year quarterback has the highest passer rating OF ALL TIME through his first 25 career starts.. beating out none other than Pat Mahomes (by .01).

The 49ers got a huge bounce back win in week 4 hosting the #Patriots and dominating the entire game. The defense showed back up and the offense continued to do what the offense does with Purdy under center... put up points! The 49ers now head into week 5 at 2-2 with their next 2 games against NFC West divisional opponents (Cardinals Wk5, Seahawks Wk6 on Thursday Night Football).

I had to make a video for this historical moment and to remind everyone to ENJOY the show Purdy on every NFL Sunday (and Thursday/Mondays). Purdy continue to defy all odds and to be THE exception as a late round QB draft pick to All Pro.

Appreciate you watching my stopping by & watching this episode! Please be sure to like, comment, and subscribe! It helps a lot!

Since Brock entered the league he's been the #1 QB in the NFL, all things considered (except SB wins, team sport) and only people's feelings say otherwise. All stats, all facts and reality is on his side and there's nothing any hater can do about it.

100% agree, great take, great video! Even as a big Purdy fan from the start, I’ve been critiquing him, settings standards, sometimes questioning, but I’ve run out of place to push the goal posts to. His presence and movement within the pocket, elite. Scrambling ability, elite. Deep ball accuracy, or any range accuracy, elite. On schedule and off schedule ability, elite. Going thru reads, elite. Throwing receivers open; or throwing to space, elite. Using the skill around him, elite, imo best in the NFL. Stats and numbers so far, elite. Confidence, very high. Put that all together and u get, elite QB

Not sure if anymore, but besides the few bad stats where SF is “top”, or worst, I think theyre also near the bottom in wr seperation, or, in other words, Purdy having to throw into tight windows. If u factor in all the variables, from drops, to no separation, to how defenses play him, his numbers are absolutely gaudy

Purdy at this moment is easily top 3 all time 49er qb.

the moment i realized purdy was great was againts the bucs his rookie year. he ran out of the pocket, swim moved a guy then threw a dot to deebo on a quirl route.

It's funny that processing and accuracy he has been elite at and those 2 traits alone should garner a lot of respect. Then you add how good he has been extending plays as well as leading the league in explosive plays you're easily talking about a top 5 QB potentially top 3. I remember in the 90s and early 2000s broadcasters often talked about defenses not letting a QB play in rhythm then the era of the statue QB came along and that all stopped but the Elite QBs could play in rhythm and we're virtually unstoppable. And that is exactly what Brock is.

I still need for someone to define what a system QB is. Every QB plays in a system. Mahomes plays in a college shotgun system, we run a pro style system. Lamar Read option system. We need to stop using it as if it defines something, it means nothing at all.

Great video! I think BP has also improved his velocity on his throws too. Love the deep shots & scrambling as well. BP love = A new sub! 😃

I think Nick Wright is just straight out Trolling with his takes now, especially the Mahomes Mountain segment, because the Brock takes are so polarising fans from nearly every franchise want to add their 2 cents worth (I'll ue the American version even though I'm English).

I agree wholeheartedly with your assessments of Brock and I also think he will really start to take more control of the offensive play calling which if you listened to the Ravens Cowboys game, TB was saying he was impressed that Lamar is "starting to do that" He's in year 7 FFS, and Brock hasn't done it previously in my opinion, not because he can't but because he respects Kyle and mainly trusts that Kyle has a plan not just for the play called but for setting up a future play. As he now has had his first full offseason, I think he will have a much better understanding of the knock on effects of each call played and be better equipped to balance and change plays regarding the direct needs of the plays with the overall scheme. Mark my words. This will be Brocks' new Superpower.

Purdy truly is the shining star in this season's up and down mess of a journey.

Up until the latest round of stats with his 25th start I was willing to give Pat the nod at #1. At this point I'll just go with what I've suspected all along. He looks like the next Brady and at this point, Brock is the best QB in football IMO.

Purdy plays like a 6 year veteran with only 3 seasons playing. when I watch Purdy, I see a player that has potential to be an all time great. his mentality, his arm talent, his accuracy, his leadership, his mobility, his improv ability. everything about him absolutely SCREAMS potential greatness. when I watch Purdy, I see flashes of some of the greats. Steve Young especially, but bits of Montana, Brady, Brees, others. mark my words, in 10 years Purdy will be written down as one of the leagues all time best and in 20 if not sooner he will be in the GOAT debate as a front runner. I would bet my life on it.

The 49ers receivers are ranked very low in average yards of separation according to Next Gen Stats.

Kittle- 20th
Deebo- 93rd
Jennings- 99th
Aiyuk- 104th

out of 108 receivers with at least 13 targets.

You know what our Purdy and Niners don’t have, vs the Chiefs? The Refs and Taylor Swift

Yeah, there's some really bad takes out there, but for every Nick Wrong there's a Rich Eisen. It's the same with fans. I think jealousy plays a big part, which is why some are desperately willing him to fail. What's more informative is what current players are saying... you know they are watching tape as it's part of their job. I haven't heard one of them say he isn't anything but a baller.
When people talk about the true greats Montana, Brady, Manning and even Mahomes, they don't talk about how big their arms are or how many rushing yards they have, they talk about accuracy and what's going on above the neck. Brock isn't in that category yet, but he has all the same hallmarks and if he continues as he has been, no one will be able to deny him his flowers.

Purdy is a top 5 quarterback in the NFL and the haters would rather keep movin the goal post when it comes to Brock insteqd of just admitting it. And Nick Wright just says ridiculous things about Purdy cuz he knows it will get him hella views. This offense has gone to another level since Purdy got behind center... he is Kyle's dream quarterback. Its so much fun to watch these guys play man. Really what Kyle and John have built since becoming the Head coach and GM is somethin r3al special

As a niner fan I’ve never felt more safer seeing one of our QBs escape the pocket. I actually get excited when I see defenses trynna pressure him, kinda like a, “yea y’all done effed up buddy, shouldn’t have done that.” 😂

His rating should be higher with all these dropped passes that are absolute dimes.
