The best part about you is that your diverse upbringing has removed boundaries from your mind, which is what most people suffer from. This has made you flexible and adaptable as per the enviornment, and which is where your comedy comes from. The likeable part of your comedy is the simplicity of it.

As an European who grew up in India and had to learn Hindi, this made me laugh so much. The first English I learned was from Indians too, so I had a heavy Punjabi accent for a long time, now I just speak with the accent of whoever I am talking to, even in my mothertongue.

That Tamil accent was perfect!😂
Especially at middle schools...
Adding the "aah" sound at end of every word is equivalent to "hai kya" in Hindi
And we extended it's use to English too😂

I’m not Indian nor Indian diaspora at all, but as an American who has an immigrant mom & literally 1/2 my family being immigrants (from South America), this turned out to be surprisingly relatable. She grew up speaking Andean Spanish & learning British English in school, but ended up picking up Caribbean Spanish & New York English when she came to the US before moving to Florida. Her accents has been a hybrid in both languages since arriving to the US😂

Like you, English was my first language. I’m Filipino, living in the Philippines, and I picked up my language from hearing my parents and watching TV in the 60s. Very Baby Boomer TV shows.

I know what you went through. I went through it too.

While I can now speak Filipino, it still comes out with its own English subtitles.
