What I find most terribly frightening is those “roaming” or rogue ones that can crash through a solar system without warning and derail the orbits.

Read recently that black holes do not spaghettify matter on human size scale. If I'm not mistaken, planetary body size was a requirement. Now I'll look for source bc I'm sure I won't be believed

I really like Roger.. I think he is the smartest man I ever met.. and is so much fun to talk to.. he has such a grasp of the fantastic that you just can't help but enjoy his conversations.. At my age I wouldn't mind dropping into a black hole.. I truly think there are other possibilities that might happen if I did.. Though I was never as smart as any of these fellows, I used to have a good grasp of the basic ideas.. Not so much any more.. pain meds and old age have fogged my mind but this is still the best place in town for all the coolest stuff..

First video from Cosmo that I dislike, ever. Nothing scary about it.
Just kidding. Black holes are fascinating, most fantastical product of nature. I just love them.

I would like to remind you all take pity on those who are not intelligent but those who question everything in those who are smart for those who are questioning everything sometimes find answers that they wish they hadn't found I am one of those people

Spaghettification is incorrect. It has never been directly observed. It has only been shown to happen with computer animations, not real observations. Quite the opposite was observed. The G-02 gas cloud was predicted to be spaghettified in 2010 and instead it orbited Sgr A* in 2014 and was barely affected. The gas cloud came out from behind the black hole completely unscaved. It wasn't spaghettified, retained it's spherical shape and none of the gas fell into the black hole. The computer animation was completely wrong. Spaghettification didn't happen. A light show didn't happen. The animation they constructed which relied on relativity and the laws of motion got 0 out of 5 predictions right. Go figure.

Quite privileged one must be to have a phobia of THIS that absolutely nobody living right now will ever encounter no matter how long they live. Bills, debt, taxes, inflation, providing, life, death...these are things that the everyday person has to deal with that is actually something to have fear of. In fact, black holes would be the "easy way out" of it all. 😁
