Before I met my husband, I wanted a career and to climb the corporate ladder. One of my goals was to go to Wharton. I met my now husband just before college and as the semesters went on, I cared less and less about a career and more about family and having children. I heard someone say that women are trying to be the man they want to be with. I believe I was on the path of doing exactly that till I found the right man.

I'm so glad I gave up on dating years ago. I was searching for a wife for a long time and I discovered one thing about American women - they don't know what they want and they don't know who they are. And from what I can see, it's ten times worse now.

I miss the days when dating and seeking relationships didn't come with scorecards and "checklists". Crazy how times have changed. All these new standards and priorities, has destroyed us. Social media is death.

I always joked I needed a handler not a husband, lol. I love that my husband puts me in my place when I need it. Sometimes I need it! He has helped me become a better person and always helps me see things I miss. I love and respect him so much

I am far older than these men, so my training was the general society style -- men behave like this, women behave like this. My grandmother was one of the thousands of women that built airplanes during the war (all 5' nothing of her), and my mother was a local politician for several years. These were not oppressed women, and I was never confused what was expected of men. So when did the basics stop being taught? If I took my wife out one evening, open the car door for her and presented by arm for us to walk into a restaurant, she would not be confused or insulted with me taking the lead, nor would my daughter. But how about today's young woman? would they even recognize the man being gracious / protective / assertive?
( if she doesn't take your arm, don't go into the restaurant; save your money; take her to a drive-through then drop her at home, or just leave her in the parking lot )

The only time I'm ordering food for a woman is if a) she can't decide what she wants or b) if she's running late for our date. Otherwise, not happening. She's an adult, she can order her own damn food.

The problem with these women is that the man they want is a unicorn, even during his own life. He's not going to be that ultimate man from birth until death. So women will ultimately end up disrespecting him as well.

Female emotions CAN make life worth living, but...
Her emotions need boundaries or to be channeled, by her, her husband, her grandmother, society etc...
What feminists do not get is a dominant man frees up a woman's emotions - to be herself. It can be exhilarting.

Unless you want children for whatever reason, dating & "romantic relationships" (including marriage) aren't worth the time, hassle or expense. But, hormones tend to be mind-control for most people.

Very true. I didn't know what femininity is until I went to SE Asia. But the same mess in the US is starting in Asia now via social media. Using the exact same terms heard in the US.
