Central America guy here and I can tell you there’s a wide variety of bananas, there’s red skin ones, orange fruit and yellow skin ones, tiny ones, short and thick ones, 1 1/2 feet long ones, green skin and yellow fruit ones; those are the ones I’ve tried but I’m pretty sure there’s a few more.

I’m South African and we have a very tropical climate in my region. We have a lot of wild banana trees and I can confirm that this is a specific type of banana, not what all “natural” bananas should look like
