I’ve been running spacers on my pickup for about 4 years and 80, 000 km. They aren’t installed with a torque wrench and I’ve never had them back off except once about 3 years ago. They have never given me any trouble, off-road, on the highway and hauling as well as overloading. They aren’t dangerous if you do it right

I have my 05’ Ram complete, paint, factory 20’s with mud tires, sound system, 4.5 level kit and fender flares. All I’m missing is wheel spacers to even my wheels out with the flares. I’m thinking of trying the bora spacers because I really want to go 22x12😁 My main worry is that I use my truck to tow lawn equipment everyday. Would you tow with your spacers on?

My 77 2500 Silverado did the same thing.. but I also had 9" of lift under it running 44s 16 16 super swamppers

Chevy torque spec is 140 ft lbs and use red locktite on spacer to hub only.

I bought a set of hubcentric spacers for $80. off of EBay 2 years ago to use with my factory wheels. When I installed them I torqued them down, drove it for 100 miles and re-torqued. Every tire rotation at 3000 to 5000 miles the torque is rechecked. If you buy them from Ebay just make sure they hubcentric and make sure your buy the correct wheels for your truck ie: don't buy the one size wheel that fits many truck manufactures, because they usually have the oversize hub hole in the middle. With them even the hubcentric spacers will fail.

I bought non-hubcentric spacers but bought aftermarket separate hubcentric rings to fill the gap. ALSO bought extended lug nuts that filled the gap between studs and spacer and touches the bud surface when tightened. No room for any play at all with this set up.

For GM you need to torque the spacers @140 foot pounds of torque. Not 110 or 120.

I have 2inch Bora spacers and their great. I had a pair of spacers from wheel adapters USA and they broke. Buy a good brand.

These trucks definitely need rear spacers after a lift.

Any experience with hex auto parts spacers? They claim they are 6061 billet aluminum and grade 10.9 studs and half the cost of Bora.

Screw spacers. Get a negative offset wheel instead if you want stance.

What about if you have after market wheels with a big center hub

I bought spacers from eBay and they work just fine I paid $114 for him so you don't know what you're talkin about as long as you put Lactaid on them rhetoric him every once in awhile they are good so you're telling everybody is BS

Hey bowtie guy 97, thanks for the info on spacers . Could you tell me if the mpg would go down if I add spacers and a bit thicker tires with not lift my truck ?
