Analog IC Design Kit Review

In this video I show you all of the components included in the Analog IC Design Kit #1 from NightFire Electronics. This kit has an excellent variety of different IC chips, resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, LEDs, and a lot more. It's a great deal for around $20. You never know when you will need some random component in a project, so it's a good idea to have a variety of different parts on hand.

Good video,  My view on the products is not the same as yours for the following reasons.  A few years ago I purchased one of the analog IC Design kits, even though I had to sort out every single resistor by color code, I still thought I got a great deal compared to getting burned by over priced on-line retailers.  My view on the assortments now, Price is ok, He has quality packaging, I could care less about the plastic box as I have my own storage system.  Not to mention all those components in a little plastic box is not practical for projects.  My Advice is loose the box and invest in labels, and sorting.  It's not worth my time to have to break  read part numbers under magnification and do color code math in my head.  Some of the trimmers had no numeric code so I had to break out my meter.  Also the  website should have links for customers to reference the data sheets in far less time.  Overall A for effort  of intended quality however D-  for execution and delivery.  Until these issues are addressed I would only recommend this for someone who needs to learn how to ID and sort components.  I hate give such a bad review to a small business with good intent, I hope it;s used constructively.
