186 HP AUDI is paired to a dry clutch 7 speed DSG. Quattro is paired to the GTI TSI engine + same 6-speed wet clutch DSG which means better long-term reliability. I'd recommend the quattro

i hav a 2017 fwd a3 with virtual cockpi but i live in euope mybe we have ifferent configurationst great daily so much room for a hatch never wanna live without virtual cockpit again slight chiptune to make it livelier, the good thing with fwd compared to the rest ist that the boot is 10% bigger and it is lighter

Thanks for the breakdown. Rs3 has a nice engine, but a bit overpriced imo. Id probably get the s3 because its enough power and still is nice.

Great video! I love that you compared them all. I actually bought an A3 FWD last year. I live in Chicago and the quattro, while somewhat faster, just didn't make sense to me. I was trading in a 2.0 Turbo Beetle R Line and that car was getting me into trouble enough. :) The A3 FWD was a half second slower than the Beetle, so I figured I was safe. Nope. I got a speeding ticket a few months later in the A3. Yes, that's my fault, but it seems Audi just can't make a slow, uncomfortable car. Not that I would want them to. ;)

Now this is not related to the speeding ticket thank god, but I did catch myself doing 110 mph on a road trip a few months ago! I have since corrected that by ALWAYS using cruise control on long trips. I just find that the car feels the same at 110 as it does at 70. It's just way too easy to get going fast and not notice.

That said, my A3 is not going a new owner anytime soon. I love it.

Go for the s3, There's a company in Nevada called Eurotek Tunning, they do really good and reliable tunes. My s3 got upgraded tune there and I'm putting down 412whp on a Stage2 tune. Have had the tune for about 8months now and I daily it. Trust me it's all the power you'll need I love my car😍

Not sure about the current models, but the 2015-2017 fwd models have twin exhaust pipes one the drive side rear, whereas the Quattro had dual exhaust pipes on both sides.

The spec on that RS3 is perfect. Our RS3's in the UK start with nothing, no red calipers, sun roof, gloss black package. Even the performance exhaust is an option. Makes buying a used one quite difficult when you want a specific spec.

Just grabbed an 2018 RS3 in Ara Blue with black optic package for the wife, it's stunning like her.Was going to order a 2019 but with tariffs maybe and emissions maybe lowering the HP we decided to pull the trigger on the 2018.

Subscribed at 0:28 when y'all gunned the RS3 engine. My responsible gene is 90% sold on a '15 A3 fwd. My fun bone (now fully erected by that engine/exhaust note) is about to trade a bit of long term security (and maybe license security too) for an S3, good sense be damned. Thanks y'all!

i have a A3 fwd ! i love it, have it chiptuned and got an exhaust . its really fun in the city BUT my dream car is the RS3. i test drove the rs3 and the only difference i felt was the power of it, the interior is basicaly the same with difrent colors
