Acctuly normal cardbord works for labo too as long as you have a game(rc car works without a game too)

1 to 10$ replacement cardboard that has been modofied to work witb IR sensors isn't cheap... sure. also, pretty sure the Japanese website will probably give you the layout for free and you just print it on a cardboard. free is also pretty cheap, probably the cheapest you can get

Cats destroy labo! Cuts to a video clip of a cat looking ready to pounce on the labo but then... the cat nonchalantly walks off. 10/10 what my cat would do, but heaven forbid if i bring any cords next to him you can bet they will go missing.

Most games are 60$, labo comes with 5 and 10 dollar cardboard, PLUS Nintendo has free replacement templates that I have actually used!

You don't "need to buy" the special cardboard, you can get the templates for free and print them yourself. AFAIK

They are eventually suppose to put out cardboard only replacements that much cheaper, but who knows when eventually will be? Nintendo will probably think "Oh, in 3 months or so, that will be fine. The Cardboard might be starting to wear for some children" meanwhile parents will be scrambling their customer service looking to order replacements and the stickers they advertised to be with them the same day of release!

Labo is a money grab gimmick in my opinion. It is not an AAA title so it shouldn't be priced as such. It is freaking cardboard! Think I'll go buy God of War instead or a RaspBerry Pi 3. Let's see who has more fun :D Kim you hot af! <3
