5 ways a 'world class' new factory can fix Aston Martin's faltering F1 project

Lawrence Stroll has shelled out hundreds of millions since taking over what was then called Force India in 2018. But since turning into Aston Martin Racing at the start of last year, the team has failed to get the expected results, with back-to-back seventh places in the constructors’ championship. That’s well short of what was hoped for.
But there are reasons for optimism. That’s not least because, in May 2023, the team will move into its brand new, state-of-the art factory located adjacent to its current site opposite the main entrance to Silverstone.
It is a landmark moment for the team. And one that, in five ways we’ll explain in this video, marks the real start for Aston Martin Racing in F1.

I feel THE RACE has become a PR machine for Aramco, ironically sponsoring Aston Martin...

Considering how the team did this year, starting as one of the worst cars on the grid to being 7th in the championship and level on points with Alfa Romeo, there's really good potential with the right facility. Whether Alonso will still be around by the time a competitive car materialises though, only time will tell.

I do hope that Aston Martin can take the fight to the front. More competition more excitement.

Aston looked quite good towards the end of the year. They just started so badly

I love how Aston is taking the right steps to be a great team. It all starts with good modern factories and solid people. Audi already has the factories. Mclaren is building new facilities! A lot of teams doing the work needed to be great. The next couple of years are going to be exciting

If I ever stopped watching F1 it would be because of Aramco.

I'm sorry, but that hasn't been clear enough to me. Has this piece been brought by Aramco, is it? Is Aramco how it's called? Aramco, right?

The problem with such teams being bought by business tycoons is their primary intentions with financial gains, while the sport is all about racing/winning.

Really hoping Aston Martin could make a Title competing car. Imagine what Alonso could done in that car and maybe even Winning another Titles which could make a awesome comeback story. also to show what Stroll could do in a faster car.
