Jealousy is in human nature. I thought marriage was meant to be in love, not lust.

I'm sorry, but just because there are more women doesn't mean they are worth less, and don't deserve their husband just as much as their husband deserves them. Also, just because other religions do the same doesn't mean it's right. It's almost like 'we are not the only bad guys, they are doing it too!' Not a very good argument in my opinion. Also, not all women want to get married. I'd say that makes up a large percentage, and could cover those 'extra women'. Not being married doesn't make you 'public property', in fact, it makes you your own property instead of being some man's property. You also forgot to mention all the lesbians and gays in America. In the country I live in, men are proportionately a lot more than women due to immigration. I don't see women having 4 husbands or even wanting more than one. It's only unfaithful scums that desire several wives. I would rather never have a romantic relationship and live the rest of my life alone than share my husband with someone else. I would divorce a husband for even wanting a second wife. Oh wait, I can't even file for divorce under this oppressive religion. My bad.

Polyghamy is allowed so you can “cheat” legally (including sex ofc). but under one rule, you can only marry more than one if you can do justices amongst all of your wives

I am an ex-muslim and I am not sexist or a feminist but this a serious question... do you honestly believe a man (yes any man) can be equal to all their wives??  Men cannot even multitask!!!  Women are far better at multitasking, providing emotional support and attention so they would do a far better job with having 4 husbands than the other way round!  And before you come at me... I don't want more than one man so don't come here and talk shit. Islam is only designed for men since muslim men can marry more than one wife without even their wife's permission or consent....

Thats what your answer contains. Marriage is a pure association between a man and a women which sustains only when there is love involved in it. But you are busy justifing the physical needs of a man. A true man will always know the fact that one woman is enough to keep him happy.

Hopefully he can explain it in a proper way in his native language.
