In Freddy vs Jason, I'm pretty certain they set it up that Jason wasn't evil, he was just mindless. This brain is always set on "Revenge" and he sees everyone as the source of his pain. All other parts of his brain are long since dead. He's basically a Wrath, a spirit motivated entirely by revenge, and simply can't conceive of any other thoughts. At most he had a lingering residue of affection for his mother.

Jason is politically correct, no premarital sex and hates sexual abuse. Also he did not kill children, in his comics he took care a teenager deformed as him and he protected him. I love it!

A slight correction to one of your observations. Jason Voorhees does not have HYDROCEPHALUS. He has Osteopetrosis, also known as “Stone Bones” or “Unbreakable Bones”. This is why Jason was so difficult to kill, even before becoming an undead zombie creature. And one of the symptoms of Osteopetrosis is unusual bone growth. This typically happens in the limbs, near the joints, causing hump backs and clubbed feet, etc. But it has been known to affect the skull, causing physical deformities that greatly resemble hydrocephalus. This explains how he is not only physically deformed, but also able to survive being hanged from the top of a barn.

Originally Jason wasn’t meant to be “undead” his backstory was that he survived his drowning and witnessed his mothers decapitation so he went on a murder spree to get revenge for his mother. But in order to continue the movies he had to become “undead”

He was a really good hunter for years in order to survive before anyone came back to crystal lake. He knew how to make traps and track pret as well as remain silent despite being as large as he is

'Jason's ability to change bodies is especially shown in part 9' makes it sound like it was shown in other entries, just to a lesser degree. 9 is the only time its shown and all the demonic stuff in that movie comes out of nowhere.

If a child was drowning in a lake, would Jason rescue them?
If a parent was trying to save their drowning child, would Jason help them?

It’s been shown that Jason isn’t unstoppable, but he is a veritable juggernaut that takes an obscene amount of damage to put down for any length of time, though we’ve yet to see him be truly stopped in any meaningful fashion. It’s not that it’s impossible to make him stay down for good, just exceedingly difficult. But if we include the fact that there will always be reboots and the like, Jason is basically immortal and unkillable for good, because Hollywood has to have money.
