To end the fall foliage walk series, walk with me through the lakeshore trail (3.3 miles, or 5.3 km) in Seneca Creek State Park. The park opened in 1958 and is located south of Germantown in Maryland. This park is a popular spot for kayaking on Lake Clopper, the main water body of the park which feeds Seneca Creek on its way to the Potomac River. This walk has the most prominent fall foliage colors of the series, and so I hope you enjoy it!
