41 years ago I met my husband and we talked until the world turned blue (I loved when you said that) and I told him my dream was to someday move to New England. For all those years I showed him pictures of the beauty of New England but one day last year in October I showed him Trout and Coffee utube and he looked up and said you really wanna move there? I said oh yeah then he said let’s move so here we are! We love your story and we love Ally’s too. Thank you for all you do to show America and the world the beauty of New England.

As part of the Great Northeast Diaspora, now living in Arizona, what do I miss most? Fall color, of course! You consistently post the best autumn videos I have ever seen. I can smell the fallen leaves, feel the chill, and savor shifting colors in the low October sun. Nostalgia doesn't cover it. I lived in Springfield, Ma, Woodstock, NY and now in Connecticut. The Catskills, Berkshires and all the places in between are home to me. It's a blessing to live where time is reckoned by the passing of seasons. I have grown children with their own families living in Thailand. It's a beautiful paradise and they want me to move there but neither my son or daughter have sat in the woods on a cool autumn day and listened to the leaves fall. They wonder why I'm still here so I sent them the address to this video without a single word spoken.

I lived in New England for 20 years and have been living in California for 20 years. My favorite season is Autumn and New England is the best place to be during foliage. I miss it and planning to visit New England next Fall.

I’m a former Western NY’er and the only thing I miss about it is the Autumn. The colors and getting lost on back roads. Been living in South Texas for 30+ years and I still miss Autumn very much.
