EASY WAYS To Kill The Wither - Bedrock Guide S3 Ep40

Today I show you 2 easy ways to kill the wither, including one that you will take 0 damage doing!

Suffocating in bedrock is what I use. But if you want to fight in a classic way - instead of potions use golden apples, on that stage of ge gold farm should already be there: they provide regeneration, absorption, and hunger/saturation. And unlike potions, they're stackable. Eat 4 in a row, and you have +8 hearts + regen, then just repeat when necessary.

night vision potions are great too because the wither will destroy your torches in 1 second, I find it helps a lot to see where he/she is!

Gotta say I really like the way you explained how to find the formation especially the creative copy part, most if not all others that I've seen typically just tell you to go to the bedrock layer and tell you to find a formation without a lot of explanation.

After thorough testing, the tail part of the "T" shape always moves two blocks east when you summon the wither from a sideways orientation. East is your POSITIVE X direction. As long as you know which direction is east, when you place into bedrock, it will get stuck. I had 8 withers only a chunk and a half apart in two different spots because of this rule.
I just want to say huge shoutout to you, Prowl. Your shulker farm is by far the best, and the one I used in my private realm. I will say, the extra duplicator extension/portion failed for me and ate up a huge portion of my time. Putting the first two shulkers in the right spot and leaving one spot available right in front of them worked to start the duping process right away. Again, thank you so much for your creative processes.

great vid Prwol, i was fighting the wither yesterday in the desert near an ocean, when he got to the second stage he flew over the ocean and vanish, i thought he is gone but when i came near that spot i found a hole 4by4 down to bedrock, with walls covered with water, i went down and there he was, i was fighting him for about 10 minutes he was not able to harm me as i was in the water the whole time sliding up and down, it was so much fun!

It's not bad enough they're twice as difficult to defeat, but they should at least stay where you summoned them like on Java. So stupid. I'm really glad mojang mentions over and over and over how dedicated to parity they are, so hopefully this will be addressed soon.. although I know they're currently really busy with important things like removing the fire from campfires, the sound files for walking on various blocks, and textures that are off by a single pixel 🤦‍♂️

Great video and thanks for the supper clear instructions on how to find your automatic Wither killing spot in the bedrock. I know Silentwisperer gave instructions in his video as well but I didn't find them as helpful or clear. It might have just been me but you have a delivering the instructions in a way that my brain understands a LOT easier then quite a few other Bedrock players 😊👍👍👍👍👍

The Wither! Funnest mob in the game, hands down. One warning with the suffocation method, make sure you aren't wearing thorn armor. If you get tagged by the explosion, or with a stray skull, he will target you and escape.

Fighting it the manual way, I’ve had the same experience of it going vertical and having to chase it. Wondering if I build a pretty thick retaining wall of obsidian will that help keep it contained? I’ve mined all the end pillars, so could make the walls 10 or even 20 thick.

Finally killed the wither, lost the nether star in some lava. Almost had an aneurism.

Great video! So to clarify - Protection IV on all armour? Rather than 1x fire, 1x projectile, 1x blast and 1x protection? I have to confess I always use a wither killer in the bedrock rather than fight it.

Already used the cheese method on a creative copy. The withers preciously have almost punched through to my mooshroom island.

I'm gonna have to try method 1 soon. Last time was before the change, and it was a nightmare. I also didn't know the Java one was different at the time, and it got lose near my base.

Since then, on of my favourite methods is to find a big cave and duke it out in there. Flying around shooting arrows, or flying into it and hitting it with my sword. Makes for an exciting battle for me, at least!

I've tried doing it in the open and it just keeps drifting up and up, to the point I lose it, so caves seem like a good way to keep it contained. Ish 😂
