Fast Algebra Trick - Multiply trinomials instantly!

In this video we look at how to multiply trinomials instantly, as well as how to check our answer quickly for greater accuracy. In addition to this, we look at the application of multiplying binomials to solve everyday math multiplication. This is an essential component of algebra.

I did the problem and then checked it your way and found out my numbers didn't match because I had actually made an addition error so THANK YOU because before this I would not have checked my answer because you normally go back the same way and make the same error this way it corrects a different way and you see your mistake. To work out both problems in this video there are: 9 x separate calculations in each. Two in the first step, two in the second step, two in the third step, and three in the final step. Both factors contain 3 x expressions, and so 3 multiplied by 3 = 9. Is this the reason why there are 9 x steps (calculations) involved in this process please? Similarly, if there were 4 x expressions in each factor then would there be 16 x separate steps (calculations) involved please? Thanks.

(5x+6)(x-1) - (2x^2 - 5x + 3)= 0

-2[ 8-5(2-3x) -7x]= 4 (x-[-9])

@ 7:00 - '78, 408' (ie. when substituting 'x' for '10') when divided by '72' (ie. when substituting 'x' for '1') = '1, 089'. Does this end result mean/prove anything please? Thanks!
