Maybe I'm too big to start buying selvedge since size 42 is rarely available and often sold out when available. Like your channel and find many others are hard to sit through, even in my Levi's, lol. One other guy mentioned that Pure Blue Japan hand dips in natural indigo allowing the dye to soak all the way through the threads, which makes it hard for them to fade. I don't want my jeans to fade, so at this point I'm looking at PBJ and researching American denim brands.

36” Vs 34” waist

Thanks for the great video! I'm new to raw selvedge denim, but also one of these people that like the slim tapered look. However, I'm not a tall slim young guy. I'm middle-aged muscular build. I want to go for the 713's, but I'm afraid I'll quickly get a crotch blow-out because of my body type and the lack of stretch that I'm used to in my Levis 511. I would like the jeans to last. What would you recommend?

Hey i was looking at other reviews and they said that samurai jeans they were reviewing had a baige weft. Do samurai offer any with a white weft? Im looking for jeand that will fade pure light blue. Thank you

I would appreciate your advice to go for a cut a little slimmer than the SO510XXII maitaining the same high rise. I am in doubt between the S500AX and a S710. I am worried than the latter between the two could be too slim/tapered and similar to a PBJ xx013 rather than the SO510.
