The Salamancas are really good at cooking. Tuco was cooking burritos, Lalo is cooking this, Hector half fried Gus and the twins deep fried an entire truck.

S04: It’s gonna be like I’m not even here...
S05: Tell me again.

I love when Lalo hands him the plate and says, “You’re gonna die” and he’s just glaring into Nachos eyes.

1:44 Nacho is starting to understand the definition of insanity, which is attempting to take out a Salamanca over and over again, expecting different results

It's not just the look on Krazy 8's face, notice Nacho's initial reaction to learning that he has yet another Salamanca to contend with. And not just any Salamanca, this one is Nacho's physical and intellectual equal. He is streetwise, resourceful, and, most dangerous of all, he is insidiously cunning. He has a charm about him that doesn't let you know what horrors he plans to inflict. This does not bode well for Nacho's escape plan. He knows he now has to watch his back and his front.

The scariest part about Lalo, for me, is how happy he is. It’s straight up creepy. No one is THAT happy. Lol

As a bilingual, I absolutely love the way Lalo casually mixes English and Spanish in his conversation (you know it’s done well when you can get the gist of his intentions without having to read the subtitles). It really highlights Lalo’s chameleonic nature. Plus, it’s just super cool.

There is something so chilling about Lalo. He is charming and friendly but beneath that exterior you can sense a stone cold and calculating killer. Tony Dalton is scary good in his portrayal of Lalo.

Plot twist : Lalo is the craziest and most dangerous Salamanca. Even worse than the twins.

It's interesting how every Salamanca cousin seems to reflect one of these 3 types of evil.
Tuco - Aggressive evil
Twins - Neutral evil
Lalo - Relaxed evil
And of course there's Hector who seems to have elements from all of these types. That family really is one of the most interesting aspects of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

Ah men, waiting for Lalo for 3 years. Finally!!

When Walt and Jesse "kidnapped" Saul in S2E8, Jimmy says 'Lalo send you?'
