I have a 2020 Z650 and zero complaints. It’s not the best bike out there but it’s fun on a daily commute or runs on the tail of the dragon.

Wow, the future is back. Old man rider here. First bike was a 1967 Triumph Daytona 500. A great ride on a very agile bike. A great sound.

I'm an old-school biker who prefers a lot of chrome, polished aluminum, and bright glossy paint, rather than flat black engines, wheels, and bodywork. So, I'll keep my bright red and silver 2000 Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 and 2008 bright red 1200 Sportster.

The Triumph Bonneville T120 is liquid cooled, not air cooled.

As a youngster back in the late 50s and early 60s the British bikes were the bike to own. A great number of the famous British bike flooded the American motorcycle market as good used bikes. These bikes were brought to America by a good number of military guys returning home after their time of service in Europe. These bikes could be purchased very inexpensively. Anywhere from $50.00 to $200.00. Guys returning seemed to believe they didn’t need the bikes and just in the way. I scored numerous British bikes like the Triumph, Norton. Royal Enfield, BSA, and others for a few dollars. Most had been neglected and in needof help. I received my education in restoration of these bikes and then flipping for a good price. Most of these British bikes had the best looking chrome and polished engine cases. The paint jobs on these bikes was simply beautiful. A little soap and water and some polish the bikes look great again. I made a lot of money as a kid fixing these bikes and selling them. My dad wasn’t happy with me cause I owned up to 12-14 bikes to be fixed and sold again. Sad due to a low quality in the British bikes they fell out are pretty much gone in the American market by the late 70s With the slump in the British bike market, the Japanese bike manufacturers came on very strong in the 60s and rocked the bike market. Even the American Icon Harley took a huge hit in the bike sales. But it seems not much has changed. The Japanese bikes are still very popular and very low in maintenance at a fair price. The rebirth of the Royal Enfield has gotten the attention of a lot of riders due to the quality of these bikes and the affordable prices. Hey Harley and Indian, are ya taking some notes? You’ve priced yourself out of the market with the same product that looks just like the 30-50 years back models produced, except for the most ridiculous prices for something that hasn’t changed much except being painted all black and no chrome. Greed is a dangerous business. Save money, cut the huge salaries of the slugs destroying the brand. Put that money saved into profitable advertising. Get the interest of that potential younger rider with a good inexpensive bike that has low maintenance and will run with the best of them. Give this rider great choices of being able to build his or her bike at the dealerships when purchasing. Choosing what colors or what accessories.Slap the hands of these dealers that are jerks. I’ve never experienced the feelings and the treatment I get when I enter a dealership. I’m a so called senior rider and I get the treatment as if I’m a second class rider. Guys like me helped keep Harley dealerships doors open. Never bite the hand that supports ya! Could Harley end up in 2025, just like the famous Indian motor company in 1953. Dead and the companies doors locked. This myth that the Indian has been around since 1901. Not true! 1901-1953 was its epithet until a kick start in 1999 which lasted a few years. Later 2011 a rebirth of the Indian by an off road vehicle company. Harley and the Indian have priced themselves out of the public market. The average guy with a family can’t even dream of owning an Indian or Harley. However, they maybe able to purchase a Japanese or Enfield bikes and get the same freedom riding.

I ride a 2020 T120 Diamond Edition. Love the bike. I put on a v&h exhaust, cat delete and open element air intakes also a larger radiator and 160 stat then had it dyno'd at 83 hp at the rear wheel!

I have the Rebel 1100 and it really is a beauty. I'm glad it got a second place. It appears the 2024 upgraded to a shaft which is even better!

Globally big expensive bike sales are dropping.
Smaller simpler value for money bike sales are soaring. .

looks like the Sportster S did really pretty good this year.
but the BMW GS 1250 mostly walked off the adventure touring market...only 2K$ difference there, shrug.
