Considered to be Seven's favorite song on the album, "Pick Out A Cloud" stands to be one of Before a beat is written and recorded to, it's given a name of its own independent of the final song name. But, when Seven sent Mackenzie a beat named "Pick Out A Cloud", she immediately knew two things -- the name would remain and the meaning was clear. To Mackenzie, "Pick Out A Cloud" means "to count your blessings", because the beat conjured for her the bliss of being a child lying on the ground staring at the sky and just looking at clouds.

There is such a beauty in focusing on simple gratitude for the second chance she received in recovery rather than complex anxieties about relapse. She could waste her new life afraid it might end up like her old one, or she could do everything in her power to make sure it doesn't.
