He has a good running style. I remember my father taught me when stealing bases you shouldn't peek back at home plate but look directly at the base your gonna steal and keep looking cause when you look back at home plate you decrease your speed.

For anyone that says Ichiro or Dee Gordon is faster, you are wrong. They are, however, better base runners. Hamilton is just so damn fast he doesn't get good jumps, which occasionally results in getting thrown out. Gordon and Ichiro Suzuki get fantastic jumps, and thus steal successfully at a higher percentage.
