The beam may undertake multiple loads, eg. a point load, a uniformly distributed load, and a moment. Such beam can regarded as three beams overlapped together. Each beam just takes only one load. The deflection equation, maximum deflection, and angle of rotation for only one load can be found in the appendix tables.
