when I was 7 my family didn't go to visit my grandmother on mother's day and instead went the next week, she was very mad as we sat down to her table for sunday lunch. But I kept winking at her from the other end of the table and she eventually gave up trying to stay mad because how can you keep a straight face while a 7 year old is winking at you!
