Nobody is perfect, she may not have been, but what she possessed was an incredible and responsible sense of duty to her people, even shortly before her death, whether you liked her or not. She did her duty every day, even behind the walls of the palace.
She may be one of the few women in this office who deserves the title of perpetual queen.

What's tragic is not the death but the pomp and circumstance that barely conceal the grief of Elizabeth's children. When a system dehumanizes a person or family, it's tragic no matter how many tiaras, Rolls, jewels and palaces you throw them.

Can you imagine how much money is being spent on the queens death?
Can you imagine how that money could have helped people in need, especially after the last 2.5 years?
Why is the queen being made out as so special? Why all the hooplah? At the end of the day she's no more special than some homeless person on the streets of Rio. That poor homeless person could die and no one would know, but the whole planet has to make a big deal about the queen. Is she more important than that homeless person in Rio? Is she more important than you?

As an American I will never get over how silly it is that these people are held on a pedestal and looked at as gods by some folks. Rip to the queen but learning about the royal family recently it’s such a Stone Age way of doing things. The uniforms are dumb.
