🍁 On July 1st, Canada celebrates Canada Day, which commemorates the Canadian Confederation in 1867. Let's learn a few tips that'll help us find our way around Canada in GeoGuessr! 🇨🇦

Canada's landscapes are vast and varied, from the towering peaks of the Cascades and Rockies in the west to the endless grasslands of Saskatchewan to the populous St. Lawrence River valley. There are a few quick ways to figure out which province or territory you're in. Firstly, look for a highway shield on a sign; each province/territory has a different shield design and many of them actually have the name of the province/territory on them. Notice which language(s) frequently show up on the signs around you as well. Quebec is the most French-speaking province, so expect to see stop signs that only say "arret". New Brunswick has a lot of multilingual signage, with stop signs that say both "stop" and "arret".
