My first atemp in 4 mns I need to stop In a 3mns because I got feel stomach ache .And I try it again rest in 2mns and final breath of 4mns hold, Yes successful yes yes .I never expect that sir .it's my new record I got 4mns yes ❤️ .

I"m surprised I did it. I used a heart rate device to monitor my HR pulse, lowest was 35bmp, max time was 4:05. Thanks Gert, your videos really helped. I can see my improvements.

Thx for this nice training session. it was a nice change of pace since before, I did my breath-holding session while listening to my favorite tracks (rock songs). Personal record in the past was 3m30s / 3m40s (a few years ago when I did both freediving and scuba actively). Now went back to practicing breath holds, did 4m10s (with music), and reached 4m20s (til the end of the video) with your "quiet" method. Gotta make more observations, but I think I'm loving it (still have problems with clearing my mind and stopping thinking during a breath hold)

This has been super helpful! Any chance we can pleeeease get the same for a 5 and even 6 minute breath hold? The guided hold helps a lot.

i like the way you teach this tables! but i think this specific table needs one more warm up between 2 and 4:00 minutes. Maybe 2:45.Thanks for the excelent job and colaboration in youtube, Gert.

I find it much easier to do 4:00 when I do the time tables. I did 11 rounds going from 1:30 and adding 15 seconds in each round with 2:00 breathing between each at 3:30 it was the end of my exercise but I held it till 4:05 which was quite easy. This is my first time exercise after 4 years break - is there anything bad with this approach ?

Hey Gert! I managed to do 4:30 then 4:48 in apnea, never reached those numbers before! I realized that some days 4 mins it's easy but most others it seem endless! Maybe too much focus on numbers won't allow me to relax properly, i guess! Btw are there some kind of damages doing this frequently? I have learned a lot about this discipline ultimately and i think there aren't, but just to be sure 100% ! Thanks in advance!

Hi Gert, I was expecting a live but that’s cool too. I watched the video and I do kinda similar. 3 sessions, or even 4, starting with low time breathold, up to a certain target or eventually trying a new PB. My latest is 5:32 and Im kind of stuck there. I target 6 but… it aint working at the moment. I was advised to do dry apnea sessions lying down ( I use a thin pillow). Is sitting better or its up to our preference? Nice video by the way, like the relaxing comments!

Great video! Do you know how much o2 is still in the lungs by the time the first diaphragm contractions start to appear? And should you be more worried about building up to much Co2 or having to few o2 while holding your breath? I could not find an answer to these questions online. So i thought maybe you would know :)

I have one question, if I do static with pulse oximeter, how far i can go with falling level of O2 (90, 80, 70%)? which value I should not to cross?
