I really like that you recorded when you learned it yourself! Its a whole other way of seeing how it's done and it's great!

I started building PC's about one year ago. Your videos have given me a lot of great recommendations for cheap components and the tutorials are easy to follow. This channel is so underrated. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Great vid, I want to mention about PSUs, if you're going to be running a server 24/7 you may want to spend a bit more on the PSU to get something more efficient. It'll shave a bit off your power bill and supplying more stable power to your system helps longevity

I literally have that same case coming in like 4 days! Guess I know what I can expect now. Also, I am currently wearing a Mandalorian shirt which I find to be an awesome coincidence

I'd have gone with a pretty good (and expensive) PSU. A non modular gold would be good. Also I'd avoid RGB fans (combined with the cheap PSU, that's some electricity spent). Well, I'd avoid fans at all. Home servers don't usually generate a lot of heat, just with a single (and silent if possible) exhaust fan it works pretty well. The rest of the components is pretty good, since you need that single core speed that Zen 2 gives.

PS: I just realized the case completely closes any gap for the RGB fans to breath, maybe it has a little gap on the bottom... And is that a 80mm fan for exhaust?
PS2: I'd recommend showing some kind of free DNS. I use one on mine so it's easy to join the server and I just give that IP to my friends.

I bought a Dell precision T3600 that came with 20gb of ram and xeon e5 1620 for €60. Just need to buy an SSD now. Will probably go for a used one.

Hey guys, I was wondering can I use an SSD drive with an ATA controller? I'm not looking for speed, I just don't want to buy into obsolescence. If not, what can I do to replace this old HDD?
