I have that sebhorriac or however you spell it dermatitis. It's not fun. It's not even like having dandruff. It's like having literal scabs on your scalp that can be painful if you scratch your scalp too much. It's terrible.

I have a dry scalp, no dandruff, very rare itchiness, but my scalp just doesn't produce oil, at all. Not sure what to do. It makes my hair very brittle.

I have hypothyroidism which gives me dry skin all over my body. Then to add insult to injury I have lichen planopolaris (a scarring alopecia) it’s an autoimmune disease. So I’m sure I’m one of the few “true” people who have dry scalp, lucky me. 😭

Well oil doesn’t equal not dry… dry skin is not skin that is not oily

I have tiny flakes… NO REDNESS OR OIL ON MY SCALP OF FACE… my skin is super dry… in fact I used to have an oily nose but for some reason it’s really dry too

Explain that…

I’m just saying there is no way it’s dandruff with the complete absence of any oil or redness whatsoever
