We're going to dive deep into Paul's epistle written to the Colossian church.

In this letter, Paul addresses some of the creeping heresy and gnosticism which has infiltrated the church unchecked. Colossae had been a leading city in Asia Minor (were present day Turkey is located). One of Paul's disciples, Epaphras carried the gospel to Colossae after his conversion to start the church there. The Christians in this church were most likely predominantly converted Gentiles.
