Love your channel! Canned corned beef is a quick and easy meal to make. A little trick that we do is to boil the can before opening it. This liquifies the fats and allows you to drain some of the oil when you open the can. It also would like less gross lol. Corned beef sauted with onions, garlic, and cabbage with hot jasmine rice is a good quick easy meal :)

Has anyone tried Ox & Palm corned beef? This one in this video is my fave, but Ox & Palm is a bit cheaper. Just curious if Ox & Palm is also chunky like this palms brand. I like my CB chunky unlike the ones you buy in aldi or grocery stores.

It is salty but when you add like 2 large cut up potatoes, water and eat it with white rice it doesn't taste salty. The Hereford brand is good and if you don't like the look of this try that brand.

OMG you two are nuts. We never eat corned palm corned beef cold straight out of the tin, we always cook it, get your butt's down to NZ and see how we prepare and use tinned corn beef.

😆 Yes, if you eat it straight out of the can without cooking it, then yes, I'll agree with you that it's gross! I know I never will! But this corned beef is not meant to be consumed that way! 1st, submerge the can in hot water for a few to melt the fat inside. Open and drain the liquefied fat and discard. Then saute with garlic, tomatoes, and onion for a bit. You can also add diced potato if you desire. Let it simmer till there's only a little juice left, then serve with hot steamed basmati or flavorful jasmine rice! Bon appetite.

You need to get a pan cut up some onions put it in some oil cook a little bit of it then you need to put the corn beef in the pan And and break it up break it up and then add some water about a bottle of water and add some potatoes and add a little pepper and then eat it with cooked rice this stuff is really good you guys don't know how to handle it you're not handling it properly the way it's supposed to be cooked.

Are there veins in there? I never eat corned beef or Spam without frying it. I only eat Libby's brand with onions. That stuff looks like an exhumed corpse or what you find in an oil drum hidden in a serial killer's basement.

The only Corned beef that I eat is from the deli sliced up to make sandwiches. I tried the canned corned beef and hash when I was kid eons ago and it was extremely gross. Props to you for being brave to try it. I already knew what the outcome would be...ugh

The only corned beef I like are the NZ or Australian brands. I would eat them straight out of the can or fried. Spam I'd only eat fried. But have had neither for years as I tend to normally eat the non processed stuff.

I live in New Zealand and when we open that same can here, it looks nothing like that one you have. Also in New Zealand we kill and eat our own cattle so buying a can of meat is almost unheard of here. You need to try some Whittaker's chocolate if you want to taste something we actually think is good 👍
