former gymnast here: this causes permanent physical harm. forcing hypermobility onto children like this can damage their joints irreversibly, not to mention the emotional trauma it causes.

I hate coaches who do this to TODDLERS AND BABIES and gets away with it, any parent or family member taking their kids to these type of classes where they physically get hurt and abused is wrong and should be illegal. Also considering there legs were literally bending as if they were gonna crack, since they are still young their bodies are still developing and this can cause permanent damage causing them to be paralyzed

I've been teaching dance and acrobatics for over 38 years. I was also a gymnast and Dancer myself. This is child abuse. The parents should not take their children to coaches who abused their children. These coaches need to be arrested for child abuse. There are ways to stretch children, without physically abusing them. This is 100% physical child abuse. And should not be tolerated.

always wanted to do rhythmic gymnastics as a child and my parents always refused.. I was sad at the time, but after watching these I now understand why. I'm very grateful for their decision.
