The Triple gauges aren’t really a throwback since it’s been in the last generation as well. I thought that was standard coming from the 370Z

Those gauges aren’t a “throwback” as much as they’re just a retained feature. Almost every model of the Z has features those 3 gauges on the dashboard

Stock exhaust should never be a negative, it's stock and has to pass test and they know car enthusiasts are going to change it. Fuel Cover has to do with the rear fenders and how it has to mounted. I'm not a designer engineer but I'm sure it has a purpose, brake ducts? Probably didn't need it. Less vents = better aero.
I wasn't even alive when the throw back z logo was around and gauges will be replaced by a lid screen with all the information you need.

The throwback logos and gauges can also be found on the 350Z. (And probably also on the 370 but I don't have one of those parked outside to check.) I agree that the new one is disappointing in many ways; even if the price was more reasonable it wouldn't be all that tempting. In fact, I'd like to have a '90s 300ZX instead of the 350. I guess I'm too into retro sometimes but if I come across a well keot 300ZX I'd sell the 350 in a heartbeat.

The gas door is like that because the body of the car is so wide in that area that if it wasn't like that the gas pump would rest on the paint of the car.

Nice video, Lauren. This seems like it would be a great daily, but I think I’d lean more towards the GR Supra at that price point. Very happy with my C8 HTC!

I have a lot more to hate. Which is why I have zero interest in it. I prefer buying a 370Z even with its old crappy tech.
