Yes, they do. Their lives are much too short. I’ve had 5 wonderful dogs (all adopted) from an Alaskan Malamute to a Chihuahua. Each was special on their own. One lived to 16yo and one only had 11 years with us. It’s never enough time with them here on earth. I just hope there’s an afterlife where we can all be together again. I miss them all dearly.

I know this feeling I had a golden retriever. To me, they are the smartest dogs, most loving. I'll never forget my golden, ,, So smart, so loving...
I'll see you again..😢

I’m 62 yrs, veteran, diciplined my tough parents, worked in the oil industry 40 yrs. I cry like a baby when I have to say goodbye to my dogs. Humans not so much.

Pets live a short life to teach humans about unconditional love. That lesson takes us a life time to learn.

I’m going through this right now. It’s pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. My dogs name is Daisy and I love her very much.

I feel this. I thought I had a lot of friends in life, but at 40 I know the German shepherd my dad got my family the month before he died was my only true one. She has gotten me through 2 deaths that should have broke me, listened to every word I sobbed and always just wants cuddles. You can't buy that loyalty or love

I lost my baby 5 weeks
Ago. Cancer . I loved her
So dam much. I still talk to her and when we come or
Leave we still tell her we will be back or letting her
Know we're home. I see her
In my mind and think about
Her. We live in a little RV.
Straight shot in a 30 footer.
So it's hard to let go.
Maybe in time but right
Now, I'm trying to heal.
But she was like my child.
She and I have a bond I
Never had with another
Pup. This one I haven't
Worked in 4 years. So
Ww bonded. I love her
And miss her.

Stop my dog is becoming really inactive and I’ve been so anxious about coming home one day and getting the worst news ever. I love my dog and can’t live without him! May your sweet little puppy rest in peace. ❤

I know the feeling. I've never felt so down, and it took awhile to get over it. Our dog was with us since we were kids.
