I was homeless for a short time with my 2 children and my little chihuahua. When you are homeless you are literally in survival mode. You can’t think effectively and make wise choices. It’s very dangerous! I had to let people help me! That is the point here. We have to help them and get them out of the streets. The process is always slow. I am finally stable with a full time job, and own a home. I had to let my county, neighbors, friends, family and even strangers help me. My journey was tough, I struggled for approximately 5 years. Nothing about it was convenient. If we ask the wrong questions we will never get to work. I support this new decision from the governor. God bless everyone.

If it's illegal to be living in public spaces, then it must be illegal for the government not to have shelter for the homeless citizens.

Democrats have said that California is a model for the rest of America. Let that sink in.

You had our taxes right through the pandemic and the roads were clear for maintenance. You didn’t maintain infrastructure but received the money…where did it go? Also sales tax penalizes the average working class citizen. Tax the rich for a change!

After being forced out of my home when my partner died by his ill-legitimate son, I know some laws must change. Many people are forced out with less than necessary reasons. His son had a home. Laws are creating homelessness. We could have worked this out.

There are colleges and universities filled with intelligence give them the situation and see what solutions they come up with.

Socialism/Communism is not yet approved for this state. People must understand the rules of our capitalist/corporatist society. It is what it is.

Right when this decree went out, I drove by North Hollywood park, I saw the biggest homeless tent I’ve ever seen, just being finished going up. lol. Finger to governor.

Use the homes and vacant apartments that nobody can afford city community centers as shelters. Greed is the issue. No one should have to sleep on the street

Stop giving money to nonprofits and use that money to build co-ops like New York did in the 60s and 70s. After 40 years of paying rent and HOA fees you own it. And send back to the other states their homelessness

It all sounds good but there needs to be an alternative for the homeless individual. If that alternative doesnt exist than those homeless indivuduals are going to suffer and become very bitter. It really needs to be a total solution so people dont become even more desperate. The mental health system needs to be able. We will be able to clean up their encampments but if we dont do what they need it is cruelty. Ive seen many clean outs of homeless encampments they just wander off and find a new camp.
