The park is named for the guy who made the park Lee Merrick. The little train was actually what started it all. He wanted to make a fun place for everyone. Rather sweet story behind it all. Sounds like someone worked hard to make a dream come true.

If a worker is smiling while dealing with the public, then this place is doing something right.

Honestly looks like a vibe. You can tell the worker in the roller coaster looks really happy

It's refreshing to see amusement park workers smiling at work, rare sight

Can confirm the train ride is the real hidden gem here. It's a great little place for families with extremely reasonable prices.

Well your $2 certainly goes further there, you gotta give 'em that.

It's not as bad as it looks. I looked into it. It has 1, 402 reviews and has 4.6 stars. They seem to be doing very well

Native wisconsinite here not only did I go to this place a bunch of times as a kid but my brother ended up working there before becoming a train engineer. Great spot surprised you didn’t go on the monorail.

This place is like five minutes from my house, America is spelled like that because the owners last name is Merrick. Also, the train takes you through a zoo like farm, hence the zebra. They had a lot more animals when I was a kid but they've shifted their focus to other attractions now like their campground.

My kids and I are riding the Meteor in this video. I remember seeing a guy filming us as we came into the station. Anyway, we regularly make a 500 mile family vacation to SE Wisconsin every year and Little Amerrika is definitely a stop my kids expect me to make as we pass through. Thanks for including them in your video. They have been showing it off to their friends.

Reading the comments here and seeing how wholesome this place is makes me genuinely want to go, just to show some support lol the thought of being a kid and getting to yell out “again, again” and the guy controlling the ride just goes “sure thing, kiddo” is so fuckin sweet. Also, any time I hear about a business that genuinely seems like it just wants to help people and give them a good time for little to no profit, it gives me so much hope

Native Wisconsinite here. I used to go to this place all the time as a kid, and I remember everything being super janky except in a fun way. I completely forgot about this place until now, so thank you!

I went here as a kid! It warms my heart that it's still around and hasn't really changed!
