I started programming over 8yrs with with just JS, 2yrs later moved to php and later typescript, I started learn Java 2yrs ago.

Basically the basic I have in JS and PHP covers most of the things I need to know as a developer, currently am a senior software engineer in a company am working for, some of the engineers are C# and Java developer and yet am not seeing the gap because am familiar with most design patterns and I can implement it in any language, have tried in most languages like C# and Python that I didn't know and yes I did perfectly there, Instead of saying start with C#, Java, or C++ because they will teach you the basics, I will say all languages teaches you the basic u need to know as a junior developer, pick one language u are comfortable with and learn it very well, master it basics and advance level, but to fit into the company standards learn Design Patterns.

Design patterns doesn't belong to any language and can be implemented in any language...

BTW I have to thank you for the DevOps course, am good with docker and Kubernates thanks to your amazing videos on that

I love your videos. Its also nice to see you wearing a Kashmiri hat 😊 For anyone that doesn't know, Indian occupied Kashmir is occupied by India and Kashmiris are being oppressed and killed by the Indian occupation forces who insist on controlling the land for their settler colonial plans. Please help raise awareness #FreeKashmir

I like C++ it supports both Functional programming and OOP.
If you learn it correctly, I mean step by step
Then you can pick up any programming languages.

I love Java because it’s super powerful language for backend.
😊 thanks amigos.

Learning more languages helps a dev better understand all languages. I always recommend _Seven Languages in Seven Weeks_ by Bruce Tate. If all you know is imperative programming in an Object Oriented (e.g. Java) or Hybrid (e.g. Python) style, you're missing out on a ton of mind-blowing fun!

Concepts remain the same, but I have realised I will never master java. Not only is it constantly evolving, there are a lot of libraries I will never use. I guess this just makes me question people that claim they "know" several languages. Like, I would never claim I know Java, I am aware of java 😅😂

I'm confused because oracle says 'If the parent has no constructor (Object does have one), the compiler will reject the program'. It seems like incorrect, please clarify.
