I used to think prong collars were cruel. I refused to use one on my GSP. That is, until he became so unruly at about 6 months old. He would bite his leash, lay down and pull ahead when I tried to walk him. After watching a lot of prong collar videos, I decided to buy one. First time I put it on him, he was like butter. I don’t think he liked it as much as I did. Lol. I am 70 years old and was able to control him like a pro. Love, love, love it. I use it just for training, not all the time. Thank you for your video.

Prong collar is a game changer for us..large GSD has been reactive and unruly, I haven't been able to walk him in public for a yr. He's great at a dog field but is so over stimulated outside he won't even take food..
Prong collar arrived last week and we have walked 2 miles every day in public since.. I've got so much more control he's so much more relaxed. He will now take treats off me, walk to heal, and the lunging and barking at other dogs and people is less and less..
Thanks for this.

Due to social media pressure I have been raising my 4th Lab witj just flat collar and harneseses
I have delicate hands and she is killing me. Just went back to a prong like my last three labs and power steering is back. She looks happy, and can finally feel what I am trying to communicate. No need for large corrections or jerks. I don't have to wear a hand protective glove anymore. I tried the "new" way, but have gone back to what works for me. Thanks for your fine video.

I wish more dog owners would educate themselves on what a pinch/prong collar is. People have too much judgement and not enough knowledge!!!! I had two 75 pound boxers and after a couple years of training on walks with a pinch they learned the expectation and could eventually walk them both off leash and they always remained in a heel. I thank this tool and the trainer who showed me how to use it for that behavior! I now have two golden doodles and I use a pinch on my young one because of his high prey drive. He walks wonderfully without pulling lunging etc. GREAT TOOL.

The best advise I've seen so far. I own 2 german shepherds and you made my life so much better. I bought 2 prong collars and Martin gales, put them on my gorgeousl girls and one proper pull was enough to change their behaviour. Walks are pure pleasure now. Thank you for doing what yoir doing ❤❤

Awesome advice! I got that martingale prong collar and it was an instant night and day difference! I only had to correct 4 times in a 2 mile walk! It was great. Before my dog was lunging at babies and strollers to go say hi. He was darting at cars. He once got loose from his normal collar and almost got hit by a car. I tried every single bit of advice for positive reinforcement but as soon as the treats were gone, he went back to his habits. I've been struggling for 6 MONTHS to train him and I finally feel like I've got a handle on it. THANK YOU SO MUCH! It was perfectly explained and I learned a lot!

I used to walk 3 dogs at a time using prong collars on each one. A great Dane mix, a pittie mix, and a fox hound. They all walked beautifully by my side. Sat at intersections and often got praised for their good behavior.

Just took my dog on a walk with a prong collar for the first time. It was night and day, and she didn’t seem to mind the collar that much. It didnt hurt her, and she gave it lots of kisses when I took it off of her. She used to pull so hard that me, a decently healthy 24 year old, would regularly be pulled off of my balance, and my wife can’t even walk her. She’s a 45 lbs goldendoodle, and she was commanding out walks. The prong collar just gave her the correction she needed to understand. Thanks for your videos !

I just bought my martingale and Hermes sprenger collar’s I can’t wait to get them in the mail and use them. A lot of these commenters are in the same boat I’m in. I have a pittie who absolutely loves being outside and meeting people. By the time I’m back from my walk with him my arm is so sore from him pulling. I can’t wait to use these collars together. I just know that they will be a game changer. Thank you for easy to learn videos. This channel is greatly appreciated by this dog owner.

Had some problems with my 8 month old Australian kelpie. Leash pulling biting and only listening to commands when it benefits him. Initially bought the prong just for the pulling issue since he started having signs of tracheal collapse from pulling with a regular collar. After a few weeks of use our walks have been amazing and also fixed some of his behavioral issues.Switched over to ecollar after a few months and happy to say he can walk of leash like a star and is more behaved than 90 percent of the children out there. I’ve taken my dog to a “professional” training school which does positive training approach and I will say the training information you’ve provided is what made my dog today. As a first time dog parent THANK YOU for all the free and valuable information you put on here. Keep doing what you’re doing for I truly believe this helps more owners than you might think and keeps dogs away from shelters

I can’t thank you enough for your videos on prong collars. I thought it was cruel until I reached the breaking point with my 6 month old lab. She literally pulled me down on the ice and injured me. In desperation I checked out your videos and decided to try one. Today was our first try and I swear she was a totally different dog! I left it slightly loose for our first try and it was amazing the difference. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A prong collar has been a total game changer with my chihuahua mix. Yes, he’s a small dog, but this dog slips regular collars and choke chains just make him choke himself until he gags and coughs. Consistent training has improved his behavior, but only a little. He has selective hearing, so when he’s done, he’s done, and not even treats will get him to listen anymore. With the prong collar, he self-corrects as we walk and I just need the lightest tug on the leash to direct him or redirect him. No more heavy coughing and his training is progressing rapidly.

Quick update for you to know! Its been 10 days since i started using prong collar in my 5 years old working line GSD and mix of Doberman, and let me tell you: IT CHANGE MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER! When i go out with them, they walk quite well but now has gone from good ro perfect. Most importantly, i can go out with my 3 year old son, because when he and my wife come with me, specially the GSD gets quite nervous, looking to everyone Who gets near to them. No i can take them everywhere without having to restrain them, just a little touch and thats It. Thank you for your job, we are going to keep working!💪🏾

My dad had Queensland working dogs and I had two. From the get go a flat collar was all I used and rarely a leash, only sound commands even in crowds not friendly but not aggressive. Now I have two huskies and I can't believe how much work they are and all the bling. I rescued and live in snow and I am so grateful to your videos. Getting the right hook up I hope will help when my broken arm is healed, thank you 🌸

I picked up my new rescue dog yesterday & used one of your training tips.
At the meet & greet, I walked her on a harness & she would lay down and not want to move. Brought her home & started using a properly fitted Martingale collar; miracle of miracles, she walks like an angel. Leash pressure for the win!

I want to thank you for your very informative videos. With your help, I have taken a dog no one wanted and transformed him into a great companion. I have prong collar I use for his training and it works great. He is a big baby, and if the collar hurt him he would let you know.
He responds very well to very little pressure, never pulls.Doesn’t chase cats or squirrels, heels well. If more people learned how to use these properly, I think there would be a lot less dogs surrendered to the shelter.

I love it. Tried out the HS 2.25 prong the first time today. Haven’t given her a big correction yet but she is responding really well with it being backed up with some positive reinforcement. I needed something to get her attention being a typical stubborn Amstaff cross.
