Dollar Tree Cash Envelope System and Budget Ideas | DIYs | Beginner Cash Envelopes | Budget Friendly

Today I'm so excited to share a Dollar Tree haul with yall! I'm sharing how you can spend $5 to $10 and have a cute and complete budget and cash envelope system. We even have a little 50 envelope savings challenge too! We could have easily made this better with a little sticker paper and canva, but I wanted to create a true dollar tree haul and system, assuming you don't have access to other materials and machines. Jordan when I first found your Chanel you suggested buying a cash envelope binder off Amazon if the ones in your shop were to much for some people. - I appreciated so much that having your own shop you’d still recommend an option for people on a tight budget. I made my own 100 envelope challengeby sealing the envelopes and cutting each in half. Then i "laminated" them by wrapping packing tape around them to make them sturdier. I also use the index cards and small stickers to make fun savings challenges. I put the amount to save by each sticker and just crossed them out when i stuffed the $. I gave my nephew a piece of construction paper and some super hero stickers and he had fun putting a sticker on every time he saved a dollar.

Another thing that you can definitely use the index cards is to create your own place holders when you want to transfer real larger bills into the bank. As much as I want the decorative and laminated place holders, they can be pricey. Creating your own is much more fun anyway!

What a fantastic video! I’ve struggled with the ideas of selling my own cute polished budgeting products and the idea of budgeting and how in teaching others to cash stuff and budget I don’t want to encourage others to buy more than what they need and can maybe afford. A lot of the plastic containers at dollar tree have motifs on them that can be removed with rubbing alcohol. I do this with the little plastic sandwich holders and water bottle and things like that. I'd try it with that pencil box.

My budget notebook came from Dollar Tree. I take an Artist's drawing pad and turn into my budget book. Works great. Not expensive.

im due with baby #2 in January so maybe if i start now i will have or done before baby arrives and be able to use the money as a little “stockpile” for diapers and other baby needs! 😊
