Not even Jordan had a 50 point scoring streak like this. MJ did go on a 9 game 40+ spree, but so did Kobe.

LONG LIVE BEAN 2️⃣4️⃣🏀8️⃣🟣🟡🕊

Most PPG in a 4 game stretch in NBA history. He also averaged 40ppg 4 times for a month during this season as well. 🐐

Kobe was already in the NBA when I was born in 2000. I grew up in Rural Missourim and became a Laker fan at age 6 after Kobe’s 81 point game. My dad was going crazy watching it live, as he was a big laker fan since the 80’s. I think my passion was birthed from that moment and as a result I was sucked into this journey and story of Kobe Bryant. It was a pleasure witnessing greatness throughout my entire childhood and living through the time of Kobe Bryant. I remember his last game and frenzy behind it. The roar of the crowd, Kobe’s 63, Shaq sitting courtside. Shit was legendary. He was an incredible athlete, storyteller, poet, language enthusiast, business enthusiast, family man who have his all in everything he did. Kobe, you are loved by many and are still remembered. You’re a large part of my childhood and life in general and I hope you are at peace.

Kobe said a very important thing and thats "scoring a lot of points doesn't mean anything if you dont get stops."

He was no ordinary human being. The mindset of kobe and MJ represents an evolution in consciousness.

The way he played against those kind of defenses... He slowly became the Black Mamba at that time. RIP Kobe I'll always love watching you even in 10 or 20 years.

It's just insane to me to know you have an upcoming game where you can reasonably expect your matchup to drop 50 on you
