I took up the 30 day no caffeine challenge by switching to drinking DECAF. Making this switch was really difficult, had a few negative side effects but overall has changed my life for the better.

I hope you enjoy the video & learn a bit about DECAF coffee.

Same thing happened to me! I fasted coffee for a bit. Started noticing positive effects on sleep and more energy in the morning. Then reintroduced it and it was insane how much it affected me. I was wired all day! Could hardly sleep. After a few days of drinking caffeine again I started noticing old negative effects and behaviors. My mornings weren’t as great either. So I decided to switch to decaf and also found out about Swiss water process. Definitely a decaf guy now. Thanks for the video

I’m actually the very opposite, my body has a very negative reaction to caffeine. It’s what I would imagine strong stimulants do to people, I get shaky and almost paranoid which I know sounds odd. But, I love the taste and ritual of coffee, so I’ve started drinking decaf regularly and love it. I will say I feel almost left out because everyone treats it like the reject in the coffee world. Glad to have someone on the same side :).

I am caffeine free 2 weeks tomorrow. I felt some slight withdrawals but nothing that bad. My sleep has improved, my mood is stable, and life isn’t so bad anymore. Almost like a cloud has lifted. Fuck caffeine! I will never go back. It messed me up big time

Even one cup of coffee in the morning gives me such massive anxiety, I don't know why I kept going back to it.. I have strong cup of decaf in the morning now and I'm so sensitive to caffeine that I can even feel that negligible amount but it's just enough and I don't feel any negative side effects, it seems to have been causing me heartburn as well and that's gone away. I didn't know I would feel happier without caffeine, it used to be like sort of sense of dread followed me around 24 hours a day. It's pretty awful. I feel like a whole new person, if you have anxiety give it a try!

The algorithm has just given me this video a couple of months after I stopped drinking caffeinated coffee.
I tried going without the caffeine in coffee, thinking it would be better for my mental health. I'm not sure that I've noticed a difference, but I was on one cup a day and have some other sleep habits that I need to change too.

As a major coffee addict....3 or 4-12 cup pots a day...all day every day and quit cold turkey because it raised my blood pressure very high....it's a hard road...I miss it more than when i quit cigarettes...

My advice (from personal experience) is to gradually stop caffeine consumption, not abruptly. For example, decrease by 30% each week, or perhaps a lower percentage, so that it doesn't affect your concentration in the early days and beyond.

You were energised because the caffeine was disrupting your sleep. I've gone off multiple times for various reasons (and returned) but gave it up 4 months ago because a doctor thought caffeine was the reason I wasn't feeling refreshed when I wake up, even though I get plenty of sleep. They said to not drink any caffeine after 10am due to its half life but I ended up swapping it out entirely with matcha. I definitely find it easier to wake up early and whenever I get tempted to have a 'real' coffee, I remember how poor sleep quality/melatonin deficiency can cause serious health problems.

I recommend starting with half n half. So the withdraw isn’t as bad.

Two weeks into my caffeine detox. Went cold turkey to get it over with and just beginning to feel the benefits.

Stick with it and you won't believe the difference.

Good for you going through this journey! I’m almost a week through with no coffee. The first few days were pretty terrible but it’s getting better. Looking forward to seeing how a few after another couple of weeks!

I like Christopher Bean Coffee company for all their non GMO flavored coffees with optional swiss water process decaf! My favorite! Welcome to your decaf journey!

I have had to quit caffeine because I recently found out that caffeine makes me have panic attacks far more often than I would without it. If your someone with anxiety, depression, or ADHD like I am I strongly recommend trying out cutting caffeine from your diet, it could do wonders for your mental health.

Good job, Flynn! I'm doing the same thing. Just signed up for the subscription service at Swiss Water Decaf and going to do my own 30 days. My blood pressure hasn't been the best and I need to get my body back in line! Good video!

We get addicted, but once we change and let our bodies normalize, it almost always is a change for the better. thanks for the video!

I also went Decaf since I had a bad Acid Reflux to the point that it disrupts my daily activities of living. It was really bad experience and also saddened me that I can not drink Coffee anymore. But since I switched to Decaf, there were no more acid reflux and I feel a lot better.

i quit caffeine cold turkey and reduced the symptoms with supplements. Acerola cherry powder for Vit C, Magnesium from BiOptimizers, KSM-66 Ashwaganda & Red Ginseng occasionally if I needed a mild boost

I'm late to the party. I'm caffeine free after watching this video. Waited a couple weeks to come back and give my 2 cents.... But it's not by choice . I got a vaso vagal syncope diagnosis a couple of months ago. Annoying little speed bump. I certainly had a few tantrums myself over nothing, lol. It's wicked hard but thanks for this info. Helped me a good bit. Cheers!
