I think my big mistake is I move my fingers too much, almost like I’m plucking with them individually instead of maintaining the hand shape and letting the movement of the “slap” pull your fingers through the string.

I’m better at it than I was a month ago. I’ll be better at it in another month. Just need time and repetition.
