Many years ago when I was a new 16 or 17 year old driver, we were moving my grandparents across the country. My father was in a full size rental truck towing a car trailer, it was heavy. I was driving a loaded van towing a loaded utility trailer with a single axle. My father got up full speed down hill to try to help climb the uphill side. Naturally a trooper was at the bottom of the hill. When he shot past me after my dad my trailer tire blew out right next to the trooper. We both did the all over the road thing. The funny thing was, right when the tire blew he turned his lights on. He stopped in front of me. My dad walked all the way down the hill to me. The trooper kept telling my dad how good of a job I did keeping it under control. The trooper was trembling the entire time lol, kept us out of a ticket. Since that time I have had many more blowouts on all sorts of positions, none are fun but the key is to not over react or jab the brakes in a panic.

I was just searching how a single axle TT would handle as we just purchased an ultra lightweight. The driver handled it well and I didn't see a lot of sway or loss of control of the RV. Cool !

I tow a single axel rv trailer at no more than 60mpr it's good to see at a reasonable speed you should be able to keep control pull over and safely stop . Thanks for sharing this video .

Had that happened to us passing Revelstroke, BC on our tent trailer. Replaced in 5 minutes and we were on our way to Chilliwack and Victoria. We brought two spare tires on our trip.

Had this happen to me with my 30 amp RV it damaged the RV a bit but it's okay rn that's why I never buy Chinese tires i use Goodyear endurance tires don't wanna end up in a mess like that again
