I am a Caribbean American, living in the United States for forty-seven years, and I still have not gotten over the culture shock. I did not know anything about racism growing up in Jamaica. Racism is destructive. So much could be accomplished if everyone could just accept each other, no matter the skin colour. We are all God's children. We bleed the same red blood. One should look at one's heart, and not the colour of their skin. By the way, the disgraceful human being was not even white -- he looks more Indian.

racism is so hurtful, it will always exist in some people, i am a Black Beautiful Woman and i am employed in a customer service industry. i see these feelings in some people, but i also see sincere care in some people. i just observe and keep my head high, in the end God has the final say.
